Our first door has finally arrived on site. It's the door that will go off the library, and is 3 metres tall! When I say "door", I really just mean the metal framing as the glazing will be fitted on site. This is the door that is required to be fitted before the roof can be finished.
Perhaps that will allow us to look at the silver lining, as the roof STILL isn't here! First they under-scheduled the production by 50 lineal metres (just the production, not the pricing, thank goodness). Delay #1. And then on Friday, delay #2: Apparently the roofing managed to go through some machine without anyone noticing, and the corrugations are not straight. Accordingly it will not be arriving "early this week". Also, it has to come down from Palmerston North on a truck.
The camera also appears to be AWOL, so there are no photos. The butynol on the gutter is at least complete.
